The Main Hall

The door to the Entry Hall of the Chateau is in the middle of the distinctive square tower. There is a 15th century marble staircase on the east end, and the black and white tiles lead you down the hall which opens to the topiary garden and oval pool to the west. Holding up the stone ceiling arches are beautifully carved musicians, craftsmen and mythical animals telling the tale of the making of this grand house. The intricately carved wooden bench seat is perfectly anachronistic as it is home to Frisbees, badminton, toy trucks and bocce ball. Visitors will find renter's guides and tourist brochures on the central table in the Entry Hall.
